“It’s Been An Adventure, Mr. Fredricksen.”
“Adventure Is Out There!”
Someone asked me to post these two companion pieces together so it was easier to reblog them.
I didn’t realize what this was at first.

Dragon Charles Foster Ofdensen by *senoritafish
Aha! I can send my DA stuffs here…
(please to forgive silly old person still trying to figure out how Tumblr works…)
If you booked. A gig. In Syria. Without telling him. - you probably don’t have any eyebrows right now and possibly second degree burns on your ears…

From the CAPSLOCKDETHKLOK LJ Metalocalypse community, this silly post/quizzy thing about the guys as Pokemon kept sticking itself back in my head, because it cracked me up, but it didn’t come with pictures. So I tried making some. I haven’t drawn anything in forever so these are probably wince-worthy…
“(Charles) is a normal dragon Pokemon. (He) is loyal to his trainer… will explode with very little stimulus so he’s very popular as a pet. (5’6” - 94 lbs)”
Normal in that he’s just your basic ninja/accountant/lawyer/manager dragon. Charles will quite literally light a fire under your little Pokemon butt to get it in the studio and meeting deadlines. Not doing so will cause the aformentioned exploding.
Eh, not really a Pokemon dragon, just one of my own. Sorry for crap quality; this is just a photo as my daughter killed our scanner last December… I’ll replace with a better quality one when I can get to one. Better scan now. May color later.
I should also disclose that Charles’ posture was sort of inspired by a CA Fish & Game Warden dog I met today; a huge friendly German Shepard named Leo, who gallumphed at me as I came in the office door, almost licked me on the nose, and then sat like this so I could scratch his chest. He was taking a break from sniffing for poachers and invasive species, I guess.
I keep seeing fans describe Charles’ eyes as green or brown; as you can see by this, I subscribe to the idea that they’re hazel - which can look either green or brown depending on the light, or sometimes their own lovely mixture. I’m a bit biased - I’ve always liked hazel eyes. ;p
