Shiny things collected by an easily distracted marine biologist. There will likely be fish, critters, science, other people's art, fannish stuffs (mostly of a science fictiony or cartoonish nature), teapots, things that make me laugh, and occasionally, kids.

Here is an image of the Velella velella, commonly called the By-the-Wind-Sailor. It is a colonial organism (you are looking at a group of individuals). It is a cnidarian (like jellies and anemones). It has no means of movement and is at the mercy of the winds (the stiff sail catches the breezes) and currents. They have stinging tentacles like other jellies.
